Notre DameThis gothic gargoyle has fiery orange-red crystal eyes and wears an aurora-borealis crystal medallion around its neck that is accented lightly in gold. He has a chain around his neck which serves as his collar. His toenails are finished in gold. He is finished in a satin buff finish. Church history tells us that Gargoyles were church guardians. Their basic function was to keep the evil spirits away and out of the church. This is one of hundreds of styles which proudly sits atop the famous Notre Dame Cathedral de Paris in France. Today, in modern times, gargoyles can be found in all of the major cities in the United States and across the world. Many styles are even found on sky scrapers.
